RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote, work, and behave in a way that is consistent with C&D Brewing Ventures goals, values, and standards.Welcome and greet guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant.

  • Present drink and food menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and menu items.

  • Take and prepare beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining quality presentation and guest service standards.

  • Upsell cocktails, featured drinks, beer, wine, spirits, and menu items to enhance the guest experience.

  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar area.

  • Process payments using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be willing and available to work weekends.

  • At least 1 year of bartending or bar service experience preferred.

  • Must have a basic knowledge of bar, dining room, and service procedures and functions.

  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, 5+ hours.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and beverages frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to convey information and ideas clearly.

  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain a cooperative, team-oriented environment.
